Wall of shame

The United Nations Human Rights Council established a to track businesses connected to Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. This database is updated annually to monitor these businesses' involvement in specific activities related to settlements, such as supplying equipment and financial services.

To conduct this update, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) assessed the status of these businesses from August 2019 to December 2022. OHCHR collected information from these businesses and other sources to determine whether they were still engaged in the designated activities.

The update included communication with the listed businesses to gather information about their involvement in the specified activities. Based on this information and reasonable grounds, some businesses were removed from the database, while others were retained. The update also considered any changes in business names or locations during the review period.

The purpose of this database and update is to provide information for public and international awareness.
